Embracing A New Way to Create Elegant Weddings
Although we love designing and creating for larger weddings, we are committed to adapting and changing with the wedding industry. The needs and wants for our clients are shifting daily and we are here to shift with you and continue to help create the elegant weddings that we love designing for.
Weddings look a little different right now and that is okay! When a client comes to us with a design idea and we create the design board, we think about all of the different components that are needed to transform a room and ceremony space. Just as we would do this for a wedding with 200 guests, we are doing it for smaller, more intimate weddings.
Previously we shared our new packages for intimate weddings, but something we haven’t shared is how we are helping our current and future clients create beautiful and elegant weddings by thinking a little more outside of the box.
Going smaller with your wedding, does not mean it will be less fun. It doesn’t mean it won’t be perfect. In fact, if you ask couples who created a more intimate wedding prior to COVID-19, they will tell you how perfect their wedding was.
We want to empower you to continue planning so that you can get your dream wedding with the guests you want there! Here are some ways to make that happen:
- Think about making the wedding celebration a weekend long celebration. If you need to cut your guest list down, it can open up more of your budget for other areas. For instance, maybe you were just planning on a rehearsal dinner on the Friday before your wedding. Instead of just doing dinner, add in a welcome party to bring all the guests together. This will allow you to spend even more time with those guests. We also encourage a Sunday brunch after the wedding. Our favorite part about Sunday brunch is that all the guests get to reminisce about the wedding night and get to enjoy each other’s company before heading home. If you are needing decor for those additional gatherings, this is easily something we can add on to your current design list to help create a cohesive design throughout the weekend!
- You don’t have to compromise on your design. Lowering your guest number doesn’t mean your design has to change. In fact, it may allow more room in your budget to create that beautiful ceremony backdrop you wanted. We are excited that now more than ever, there is a need for backdrop rentals. This is something we provide in-house, so you don’t have to bring a third party rental company for them. Our clients are loving the idea of expanding the floral design aspect of their wedding and so are we!
- A smaller guest count means more intimate conversations with those that are closest to you. Instead of feeling like you have to chat with 200 guests, you can have one-on-one conversations and truly catch up!
We’re here to make sure all of our clients’ wedding dreams come true, without you waiting years to get married. We enjoy getting our creative juices flowing, even if it means a smaller wedding.
